Croatia Pag Apartments “Barbara” are situated in the beautiful surroundings of the town of Pag on the homonymous island in the vicinity of sandy beach. The boarding.house disposes of suites (4+1 and 2+1) and double bedrooms (1/2) with private bath. All suites and rooms are completely equipped and they all have theor own balcony or terrace overlooking the sea or the garden. There is a parking place available for guests and if necessary, we enable you a berth for boat. The rooms and suite can be combined with half-bord. Our cuisine offers a great range of national specialities: famous Pag’s cheese, lamb, smoked ham “pršut”, grilled fish and meat, seafood, local wines and herb brandy “travarica”.
Apart from accomodation and gourmand’s delights we offer you pleasent rest in the medieval town from the 15 th century,designed by the famous architect and sculptor Juraj Dalmatinac. Many cultural and historical monuments are very well preserved. Outstanding among them are: Rector’s Palace, the old tower, the Convent and the Church of St. Margaret, numerous churches, Baroque-style balconies and coats of arms of noble families. Pag is proud of its rich cultural heritage and jealously guards its centuries old traditions and customs. The most famous souvenir of Pag is certainly the world famous lace of Pag and admirable tradition costume of Pag. Pag also cherishes its folklore dances and songs. The well known attraction is the carnival of Pag when yuo can enjoy many cultural performances. The centuries old tradition includes the performance known as the “Female Slave of Pag” as well as folklore performance “Paški tanac”.
